Pregnancy Early Scans

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and 46 so I've been trying to find anywhere in Norfolk or Suffolk that is doing early scans. The private place in Norwich has shut due to corona virus the Spire Private hospitals in Norwich and Cambridge aren't doing them either. Waiting until 12 weeks is going to be really hard. Anyone know anywhere doing them?

I’m nowhere near Norwich unfortunately but I was able to get a private scan at Window to the Womb during lockdown. The other company (Ultrasound Direct) is closed during lockdown. Do you have a Window to the Womb near you?

Melbs - my local window to the womb is shut but the ultrasound direct you mentioned will reopen first week in May they said when I rang earlier so they've booked me in for an 8 week scan x

@Catlaw73 that’s good! 8 weeks is a good time to go for an early scan because they have a better chance of seeing baby abdominally and you’ll get to see the heartbeat 💗

Had a 6 week +2 scan today by a fluke as consultant requested it at my first appointment. All present with the little flutter.. I feel excited now!

Pam’s Ultrasound in Norwich seems to be still open. She was great when I went for a scan in a previous pregnancy.

I was so lucky this week. I had an early consultant appointment come trough at the hospital. They arranged for me to come back in the afternoon for an early scan and voila little peanut was all present and correct.. so £70 private scan next week cancelled! 6wks +2 on Tuesday xx
