I’m 13 weeks and had about 7-8 scans due to bleeding and high risk. Scans have been good and baby is a little wriggler with a nice strong heartbeat. I’ve relaxed since getting past the 12 weeks as I had a very anxious first few weeks. I’ve now told myself I need to try and enjoy it.

Just wondering when everyone bought things? I think I’m being mad but I’ve bought the changing station and cot already. Very cheap and was on offer so just bought them in the spur of the moment but instantly felt bad about it.
Also bought clothes nappies and little things like that.

Won’t buy the pram till at last 24 weeks. Am I mad to have bought so much already though?

I don't think there is a right or wrong. I'm in a similar situation to you and I've chosen not to buy anything until after the 20 week anomaly scan, but that is because I'm still feeling extremely anxious that something will go wrong.

If something went wrong now, you'd be heartbroken whether you've bought things or not. If it is helping you enjoy your pregnancy then go for it.

Of course you're not mad. If you see good buys and you can afford it snap them up and feel happy about it. You're going to be a mummy! Yay!

I think everyone should buy when they want to and I’m all for enjoying the moment and doing what feels right!

Buy what you want when you want! I'm all done at 24 weeks almost and husband thinks I'm mad but it makes me feel more relaxed to know I'm all sorted!
