7 weeks since D&C

So, it's 7 weeks since my D&C, I know I've ovulated because I was testing.
For the past 6 days I've had brown spotting, not really even enough to wear a pad. But enough to mark underwear. I have done pregnancy tests and negative. I'm possibly 20-22days DPO.
We have had sex (last time about two weeks age) but surely I'd know if I was pregnant by now

So is this my period?

My previous D&C my period returned as normal 4 weeks after. Normal flow.

I know each time can be different and our body's are a funny things

Could there be a chance you didn't actually ovulate? Before I fell pg I tested for ovulation and when I was due to ovulate I had a week of brown discharge and was expecting for af to show.... I kept doing ovulation tests and I ovulated once it had stopped.

Other than that could be the start of af and your body getting rid of some old blood

I had some obvious ovulation discharge so I started ovulation tests. Last test I took on 3rd April. (See photo). Then the brown stuff started dead on when my period should have started after ovulation.
It's completely stopped now, there was no blood at all. I had the brown for 6 days.
I do normally get that the day before and then full flow. I'll start ovulation test again in a couple of days.
All very confusing as wanting to start again
