So I'm no where near giving birth.... But just wondering if I'm bottle feeding do I take my own in 🤔 my last was 7years ago and I didn't but having baby at different hospital this time and years on!!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I'm taking the ready made bottles and milk that you can buy. I think they come in a pack of 6.
All ready to go, no preparation needed.
I had my last baby 20 years ago and had to look all this up too haha

My hospital provided formula in those little starter pack bottles with a teat but not all do so I’d ask your midwife

I planned to breast feed so I didn't take anything but I couldn't do they gave me a ready bottle with a teat and then I had to get some more for the next feed so I'd take some in case

I think I read recently that hospitals were not allowing formula to be prepared so you had to bring your own pre-mixed packs. Bought that way, not prepared yourself.

Although every hospital will be different and I imagine rules are changing frequently too.

I would phone a few weeks before you are due and check.

@Avearage I would like to know this question too!

You’re not on a Facebook group for Bristol/Bath area by any chance are you? 😬

You can buy the little starter packs to take in with you.
