Hi,

My husband and I have been TTC (learning the lingo). I was getting period pains and really sore boobs and thought my period was coming but it didn't, the pains went away (apart from sore boobs). I've done 2 tests and they both say pregnant. Reluctant to celebrate yet as it's really early days and I think it's still not actually feeling real yet.

I keep getting a very specific twinge, a bit like a stitch, on my upper very right hand side of the lower down area. What is this and is it okay?

Thanks in advance xx

Congratulations!! I was the same as you and didn’t actually start to feel the reality until my 20 week scan two weeks ago! I went for an early scan at 7 weeks as it just didn’t seem real either. I had those scratchy pains , it’s all to do with the implantation of the egg and it burrowing into your uterus where eventually the placenta will form! Download a pregnancy app which tells you daily what is going on in there, I found that really helpful. It also gives you a 3D image of what the current cell looks like! Xx

These two apps are the best in my opinion and free too xx

Thank you so much! And huge congratulations on having your 20 week scan! I'm almost too scared to download the app in case it doesn't work out 😬 Will see what happens over the next few days. Thank you x
