Hi! I am around 5+2 pregnant after finding out last week. Obviously I'm very happy but I feel absolutely awful - like flu. My breasts ache, I feel queasy, I keep getting cramps on an off especially at night, my whole body feels as though I've ran a marathon the day before! I've been doing some stretching when I wake up to help muscle pain and constantly have a hot water bottle on/with me. Is this normal? I wasn't prepared for the fatigue - don't think I've ever felt this physically exhausted in my life.

Hi, congrats! It’s completely normal so just give in and don’t try to fight it. Make sure you Are drinking plenty too.

Yep totally normal. I’m 8+4 in my 4th pregnancy (2nd baby hopefully) and the nausea always gets me first. I feel permanently hungover. Just go with it, drink plenty of fluids and rest when you can. I try to eat healthy when I can, but if I can’t I eat what I want.

Ah thank you! I had a MMC last July and have been TTC ever since. I felt bad last time but then symptoms faded, I do feel worse now which I suppose is a good sign but constantly on the lookout for symptoms fading or changing. Think I'm just being super sensitive to everything happening in my body! Thank you for the reassurance Smile
