Hi all,

I’m about 5wks pregnant. I’ve done clear blue indicators, about 4 days ago it says 3+ and this morning FMU it said 2-3. I’ve also been cramping on and off throughout the pregnancy and that is still happening but not sure if they’re any worse or not. Wasn’t bleeding when I last checked an hour ago.. please help :( its too early to call anybody and I’m going mad
Thank you x

I know, as hard as it is, all you can do that this stage is wait. I’m not sure about the CB test but I know they can been a bit unreliable at times so while you don’t have any bleeding try your best to relax, it’s so hard to tell if it’ll be an early miscarriage or if everything will be fine, it can often go either way. Sorry that this is happening Flowers

Cramping is pretty normal in early pregnancy, your body is going through a lot of changes. Please don't retest anymore, you'll drive yourself bonkers. I know its easier said than done but relax! Allow yourself to be happy that you have conceived and are pregnant!

I’ve heard those clear blue can be a bit iffy so if there’s no bleeding I wouldn’t worry. Cramping is normal and probably ligament pain

Christmastree43 · 21/04/2020 08:31

I had cramping for pretty much 14 weeks on and off, not severe though, it is very normal I think. Pregnancy for me has just been low level aches and pains non stop, not what they show in the movies 🤣 please try not to worry OP X

Cramping is normal, I had cramps until about 7 weeks.

Those tests aren’t accurate as they totally depend on the concentration of hCG in your urine which changes all the time. This is why they’re not used by healthcare professionals. Please stop testing!

wannabebump · 21/04/2020 08:43

Just tinge exact same as the other posters... your body is going through lots of changes so cramps etc are really normal. Those tests are awful - it all depends on your urine, how long you've held, FMU or not. I read on another thread on here before that the are not sold in certain countries/store chains because of their unreliability. Please don't test anymore x

I don’t like the digital tests. They appear more reliable and they’re actually not. Cramping is a normal part of pregnancy - though it is admittedly scary

As others have said the clear blue weeks indicator is not accurate, I wouldn’t do any more of those. I had awful cramping up to about 8 weeks, I had to get out of bed and crouch down and sometimes lie on the floor. I told my midwife at booking and she said it’s normal it’s your uterus adjusting to having something new in there. As long as there’s no bleeding the midwives are not concerned about it. It stopped suddenly one day and I’m 32 weeks now. Try not to worry.

I caved and did another one 3 hours later and it’s back on 3+ weeks. Maybe it was a dodgy test or I didn’t pee on it right this morning!! Not going to do anymore now as that was horrible. Thank you everyone!!

Hello all.. I have been worrying about cramping too but staying calm. Mine have gotten more frequent but wouldn't say any more painful. Seeing this post has really helped me so thank you for asking the question x

sel2223 · 21/04/2020 12:25

@Opal123 congratulations on your pregnancy.
As others have said, cramping is a very normal symptom in early pregnancy and the digital tests are not reliable....they regularly fluctuate from morning to night and from one day to the next.
Please resist the urge to keep testing as you'll drive yourself crazy with it.

Hi, I did 2 clearblue tests using the same urine sample when I got my BFP, 1 said 2-3 weeks and the other said 3+. I wouldn't worry, it's potentially just because your levels are around what is consistent with the 3 week mark.
