I've taken a pregnancy test and it showed a faint blue line. Then I took a digital test and it showed not pregnant. I then took another pregnancy test and it showed a faint blue line. This will be first child. So I'm so confused and was wondering if anyone else went through this same thing. I'm currently 2 weeks late as well and have been having a lot of symptoms. Breast tenderness, nausea, Fatigue, frequent urination, etc.

I read on here all the time that the tests with pink dye are more reliable; less chance of evaporation lines etc, so maybe get your hands on a First Response or similar pink dye test if you can (where the lines are red, rather than blue). 🤞🏼

Sorry the first test I took was a first response. And it was faint as well. And then the third one I took was a blue line

Oh how strange. Do you know when you ovulated? Is there any chance you could have ovulated late, and therefore it's a bit too soon to get a sting positive?

If I was pregnant i would be roughly 7 weeks. If that helps

Digitals need more HCG (50miu I think) compared to First Response which is about 6-10miu so they take longer to come up positive

Have you got a photo of the First Response?

This is the first test I took. I don't know if you can see it on camera. It was pretty faint when I took it.

Yeah I see that. Can you take another first response and get a pic? :)

sel2223 · 21/04/2020 12:53

That doesn't look like a first response test OP as they are normally pink dye. First response is the brand name if that helps?
Digital tests are the least sensitive.

Are you tracking ovulation with temping and ovulation tests? If not there is a chance that you may have just ovulated really late and there is not enough hormone in your system yet to be showing on tests clearly. I can't see a line on your picture and I'm usually pretty good at seeing them. If you were 7 weeks along I would expect a test line darker than the control line so going by this I would say you are unlikely to be pregnant or much less pregnant than your dates suggest.
