Where are people purchasing their clothes! I have no summer clothing and bump is growing. Everywhere I've found a nice dress or shorts they are out of stock in my size! 😭
Also if anyone knows a good place for under bump knickers??
Thanks ladies xx

Not sure about under bump knickers, but I've been buying maternity clothes/pjs from Boohoo.com. Really decent prices.

I've got a couple of dresses, a top and a brilliant pair of overbump jeans from JoJo Maman Bebe (all in the sale apart from the jeans).

Maternity leggings from H&M, and over bump knickers (so comfy!) & a t shirt (again from the sale) from Lindex (sold on asos but cheaper from their website).

I got a pair of PJs and a top from Asos but was really disappointed in the quality and sizing. Will probably splash out on the Seraphine bamboo cotton PJs on payday.

I'm hoping not to buy anything else - I have last year's summer maxi dresses and jumpsuits with plenty of stretch in them, and not needing workwear due to lockdown means I'm surviving on much fewer clothes.

How many weeks are you? I’m only 15 but wondering if I need to buy now - at the moment I’m just living in leggings / jogger. And just a bit fatter rather than an actual bump

MonaLisaDoesntSmile · 20/04/2020 20:22

I had lots of tunics anyways so they accomodated the bump, so only invested in good quality trousers from JojoMaman and a few cheap dresses from ASOS.

I'm 28 weeks, I've managed so far but now nothing fits and all my short summer dressed rise up too high at the front.
Thanks for the recommendations, I will have a look now! I'm hoping to just get a couple basics as noone will see me but my poor neighbour or anyone who I see dog walking is currently seeing me in a top with my belly poking our the bottom 😂 not a good look!

New look and Dorothy Perkins maternity has seen me through a couple of pregnancies now. Asos too but they are really hit and miss.

Rainbowafterthestorm · 20/04/2020 22:15

It’s my first pregnancy so I’m going off other threads for Dorothy Perkins being ok but Dorothy Perkins had up to 50% off the other day (Easter weekend), so I thought I’d give it a try and bought a few maternity basics. The previous sale might be of no use to you now, but I do buy from them a lot for regular work clothes though and they tend to put on sales during bank holiday so you might want to hold off until May bank holiday.

erised · 20/04/2020 22:15

I bought a couple of pairs of maternity jeans from New Look when I was about 12 weeks just to prepare. Now 27 weeks and due to the lockdown they've been sat in a drawer unworn because I'm just living in big tshirts and XL mens sweatpants from Primark! Have ordered myself some leggings from Asos though as it's getting warmer. Feel like maternity wear in this current situation is a waste of money for me personally.

On this theme... may I ask about over the shoulder boulder holders?! My boobs have grown massive already at 17 weeks! I attempted to measure myself following online guidance and ordered 2 bras but they are still too small!!! My poor boobies!!🙈

Cherryrainbow · 21/04/2020 12:02

Boohoo has lovely stuff, range of sizes, and low prices. Ordered from there a few weeks ago for first time ever and found their clothes great. Order true to size I'm a 14 and the 14 stuff fitted perfectly x

HarrietM87 · 21/04/2020 12:06

H&M is really good. I had lots of stuff in my last pregnancy but they’ve really upped their game since. And I got nicer stuff for work etc from Seraphine - a couple full price from the shop and lots from eBay once I knew their sizing! Less of a need for that in lockdown obviously!

baby456 · 21/04/2020 12:08

ASOS was good for me, ordered Thursday and a arrived yesterday. Also H&M but there delivery says 10-14 days

Superscientist · 21/04/2020 12:40

I have switched to bralets, I'm around a DD cup and M&S have some DD+ bralets so I've gone for them for the time being.
I've bought a pair maternity jeans and a dress from new look for the odd time that I want to look a little more respectable but the rest of the time I'm making do with what I can fit into from my existing wardrobe. My new years resolution for the year was going to be try not to buy new clothes then I found out I was expecting so this lockdown is working out for me. When I was sent to wfh I was just about to have to buy some maternity trousers for work so win!
