Discharge at 23 weeks TMI

Hi everyone :),

I'm new to this forum, I'm currently 23 weeks with my first baby in
August and had some concerns about the watery discharge I've been getting. I decided this morning that there was no point worrying anymore and called a midwife at my local hospital but she wasn't very convincing :(.

For the past 2ish weeks my discharge has turned very watery. I have read that this can happen around 22/23 weeks but it's still concerning me a lot. It tends to be first thing in the morning when I sit up I get a bit of a flood and it usually has a little bit of the white stuff that I would associate with normal discharge in it and then I'll just get little patches of white discharge for the rest of the day. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? The midwife didn't sound worried at first and said it usually ramps up around now but then sounded more concerned when I said it happened in the morning after sitting up but that she didn't really want to send me to the hospital. While I don't really want to go either if something is wrong then I absolutely do want to go!

I'd say when it happens it's no more than a panty liner, probably less. Any experiences or advice of any kind would be really helpful!

Thank you xxx

@erin89 I have had this for last few days i'm 22+5. Went to the hospital last thursday evening to get checked after having tiny bit of blood and I just had a little erosion of my cervix nothing scary and everything checked. I asked about it while I was there and they said it's just the cervix keeping itself clean and nothing to worry about as long as it isn't smelly or a different colour. White and clear is fine :)

@KittyKat2020 thank you for your reply :). I’m glad you were okay! Did you have the same issue with it happening when you woke up/sat up? This is the thing that’s gotten me worried Blush
