Do I have a high or low baby bump?

I keep looking at my belly trying to figure out if I'm high or low? As a first time mum I really can't figure this bump problem out. I'm short at 5 foot 2 and think my bump looks like a stuck on basketball haha.

I would appreciate everyone's suggestions. Thanks in advance.

That looks super low to me! Mine was stuck up around my bra the whole time and I found it hard to breathe in last trimester

Thanks! Yeah I thought it may be a little low as I'm currently suffering from SI joint pain. Sounds like baby is sat funny near the pelvis area. However I do also suffer from under the rib pain too. Think this is due to my short torso. Can't win haha.

Lovely bump pictures, I'd also saw low. I wanted to drop and say hi as I'm also very short and suffering with my back, I'm 16w only but holding pretty low so far. How many weeks are you?

Toz13 · 20/04/2020 12:43

@Indigogirl88 I'm 27 weeks and 4 days. I started suffering here and there around 19 weeks. Then past three weeks I've really struggled. Doctor confirmed it was my SI joint on my right side. It's super painful. One minute I'm fine next min I'm in agonising pain if I stand funny or move. Nothing much you can do but stretch it out. I've recently bought a back support belt. Not yet found any advantages as it's too early to tell but it does feel a lot better being held in. That kind of feeling you get with Spanx. Luckily being off work due to the current situation is helping me rest. Can't imagine what it would be like if I was at work on my feet all day. Hope you're feeling better soon. Do invest in a belt and do some exercises. Best of luck!

TwinkleStars15 · 20/04/2020 14:43

Looks low - how many weeks are you?

Caspianberg · 20/04/2020 15:14

Mine looks like that and i am 38 weeks. But its always looked like that, so I would say its normal not low, mine hasn't dropped any lower yet.

Toz13 · 20/04/2020 15:42

@TwinkleStars15 I'll be 28 weeks this week!

Looks like it's a low one. I don't know the gender of it but I heard they say low is a boy

Ive got 3 boys and all were really high bumps, I could barely eat in the last 2 months as there was no room for food!
