Hi!!! Has anybody had experience with the Elaone emergency pill??

I took it a couple of months ago and had period the next day after taking it. I had one the next month which was lighter and darker in colour.

I am now late on my period for this month and I’m desperate to start !!

I also have been feeling very very nauseous on/off.. really really hoping not to be pregnant.

Has anybody got any advice for me please,??

I believe the emergency contraception works by blocking ovulation. If you have already ovulated by the time you take the emergency contraception you can still get pregnant. If you think there is a chance you are pregnant trying to get hold of a test and seeing one way or the other.

I have taken like 12 preg test.. I even took one this morning at about 9am. It was a clear blue digital test. It came out negative. I just feel very nauseas which worries me

OK, it could be that you are anxious and that is disrupting your cycle.
I'm not sure how emergency contraception affects your cycle in the following months, if it would put your mind at rest, would it be with seeing if you could get a phone appointment with a nurse at your gp practice?

I had the same thing happen a few years ago, had sore boobs and sickness and was convinced the pill hadn't worked. I ended up having bloods done to make sure.

I had the same after the Map took my cycle a few months to get back to normal and had pregnancy symptoms during that time too have swore I will never take it again messed with my head big time

@Curiousqueenx it was negative, not pregnant.

The nausea was on and off and put me off eating, honestly it lasted until I got the negative result. I'm a big believer that anxiety can cause you to feel symptoms of something you're worried you have, such as pregnancy. I've had it happen so many times! My period was also messed up for a couple of months after taking the morning after pill.
