Blood test + early pregnancy scan in London private clinic

Hi, I am interested if any of you ladies could reccomend where to go in London for an early pregnancy blood test, and, ideally, the ultrasound scan, too? I phoned Fetal Medicine Centre on Harley St and they are scanning only from week 7. I need someone who can do it in week 5, any clues? I am trying to avoid central London hospitals A&E for obvious reasons.

I am 5 weeks pregnant today, 4 times tested with the faint line becoming gradually darker. I had 1 ectopic 6 months ago, managed via expectant management. With my first ectopic the symptoms started around 5 weeks with pain and spotting, the ectopic could not be seen at first and was diagnosed only together with blood tests of 48h difference). Now I have mild cramping on the right side which doesn't let me sleep, really anxious that this time it may be again the ectopic in the same tube! No other known pregnancy. I am 38, and was supposed to start the NHS IVF this March, but our cycle was cancelled because of the coronavirus.

Thanks for your help and baby dust to you!

I had an early scan at the Birth Company on Harley street. I'm not sure if they scan that early. I had a private blood test done a few years ago. I think I booked it online through Blue Horizon medicals and it was in Wimpole St. Good luck

Thank you so much, @Minkies13! I've just been in touch with the Birth Company and they seem to be fine with seeing me even though it's indeed quite early. I'll check the bloods you mentioned, too, thanks!

No problem at all. I hope you get the good news you've been waiting for. I'm not sure if it's helpful but I had a lot of sharp pains very early on on the side I ovulated

Thanks! Hope your pregnancy was successful and full term! Fingers crossed that might be a similar reason in my case. Just, this pain now feels similar to the one from 6 months ago although lower in intensity. I hope I am wrong!

I think most places won’t offer a scan before 6 weeks at the very earliest as before 6 weeks it is often too early to see anything on the scan.
