Morning all,

I have just found out I am pregnant and have horrific morning sickness. Well, nausea mainly! Didn’t think it started this soon!

I am really struggling with it and wondered if anybody had any tips on how to manage it?

I bought some sea bands from amazon - which seemed to help.

Sip water - don't drink it.

Keep some plain biscuits on the side of your bed and slowly nibble on one before you get out of bad.

I found ice lolly's was my best friend for 4 weeks - I lived of them!

If it gets really bad then speak to your GP and ask about anti sickness tablets

Good luck x

Thank you! I’ll definitely give them a try. I’ve been sipping on water and ginger tea which helps a tiny bit sometimes :)

it's miserable... I really can sympathise. I found some ginger lozenges helped and sipping on full sugar drinks.

Make sure you nibble on something every hour. I find if I let myself feel hungry I feel sick.

It sucks. Mine started early too then really peaked from week 7 to 11, it was awful.

I found being hungry or too full made me worse so I tried to snack pretty often rather than big meals. For me, i could only manage salty snacks, fizzy sweets and some fruit.
Just eat what you can, when you can and drink plenty of fluids.
