I am currently 12 and a half weeks with non identical twins. I had a scan at 10 weeks and everything looked great, the babies were on my right hand side and were moving around with a healthy heart beat. A few days after the scan I started getting a weird dull achey way where the twins had been lying. Sometimes I didn’t really notice it but other times it felt like a bit of a light pain. It worried me a lot but I just hoped it was just growing pains and it would subside, after 3 or 4 days it did. I got quite stressed out yesterday and felt the pain back in my abdomen again at the side that the twins were lying. It has continued on and off since. Should I be worried about this or could this be growing pains? I have a scan booked for Wednesday but for now I am going out of my mind with worry. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hey, I don’t have any advice really other than maybe because rheas is two that possibly it is just growing pains? Also any time you’re worried please do contact your midwife or the early pregnancy team as they’re there to support and reassure you. Hope the scan goes well xxx
