Hi everyone,

Been reading up that it is very common almost all pregnant woman will get CM during pregnancy and it will get heavier as months go along. Apparently it’s a good sign ? I had some in the first 3 weeks of finding out but I am now 15 weeks and have nothing at all dry as a bone every day.

Is this a bad sign and has anyone else had this? I read it could mean low progesterone and now I am freaking out a little.

Thanks

Do you normally have a lot?

Was everything okay at your 12 week scan?

I don't normally have CM, and didn't see an increase when I was pregnant with DS.

Most women are complaining and worrying about what's coming out of them and you're worrying about what's not Hmm

Everyone is different and symptoms can come and go at different times. I've had CM a few times but not constant. I'm 23 weeks and baby is fine.
Try not to worry and try not to googie too much, it'll turn you into an anxious wreck!

I didn't have any until much later late 2nd trimester

Delbelleber · 19/04/2020 13:45

Don't know what happened there but I was saying I didn't get cm till much later in to the 2nd trimester and its been coming ever since! Nearly 35w now.

That's a bit harsh, sel2223 . OP can't help what she's worried about.

bloodyhellsbellsx · 19/04/2020 16:53

Can’t say I ever noticed any at all to be honest and my pregnancy went just fine

Echobelly · 19/04/2020 16:56

I didn't even know this was a thing. I don't think I ever had much.

RingaRosie · 19/04/2020 16:59

I didn’t have much, but preferred to feel dry, so as I wasn’t fearing blood.

There are so many things that cause anxiety during pregnancy, it’s always okay to ask about anything, I say...

Mummyspider27 · 19/04/2020 17:06

I have days. Can be dry for days and then suddenly get loads x

sel2223 · 19/04/2020 17:36

@Mucklowe sorry, it wasn't meant to be harsh, I meant it as a joke.

MRSSGS · 19/04/2020 17:41

I didn't have much before I got pregnant and my symptoms didn't come till later on in pregnancy. Be careful what you wish for, I have a lot now and it irritates my skin :( can be very uncomfortable. Every pregnancy is different xx

coffeecoffeegoose · 19/04/2020 18:54

I always have a lot when not pregnant but hardly had any at all in any pregnancy. I too worried about it after reading the same things as you but everything was fine so try not to worry unless you have reason to.
It was always quite a shock when my mucus plug came away!

@Cherir20

I didn't normally have any/much before I was pregnant, only a little around ovulation. Now I'm pregnant (18 weeks) I don't have any visible in knickers unless I've been for a jog, and then there's a bit as I guess the jumping up and down forces it out?! Confused But if it weren't for jogging I wouldn't see any, just to reassure you that we're all different.
