I had my last period on 17th March and got a very feint positive on Monday 13th April, you could barely see it but it was there! Have tested most days since and although there appears to be some progress the line is still very feint. I think I’m around 18 dpo now (but didn’t track this month so can’t be sure) I’m really worried as shouldn’t the line be much darker by this point?! With my first pregnancy I could see clear line progression and lines were much darker overall right from the start. I did a CB digital yesterday and it said ‘1-2 weeks’ - shouldn’t it be higher than that by now? Been googling and struggling to find anyone that has had a positive outcome with tests like mine. Really worried this is a sign of low Hcg and potential miscarriage. I’ll try and post a pic of tests in comments. Please help! I am going crazy here Confused

Seems I can’t add pics yet as i’m new to the site - does anyone know if that’s true?

You can't add photos for the first 48 hours after joining, or something like that.

My understanding is that the clear blue digital calculate from implantation, not LMP. If you ovulated late, then 1-2 weeks may well be correct.

Are you using the same brand of test to test daily? Some brands don't get very dark, and some women don't get positives until they are weeks into their pregnancy, so everything varies.

Unfortunately, all you can do is either try to persuade your GP to send you for blood tests (which they probably won't as it's so early), or just wait and test again later this week.

I have my fingers crossed for you Flowers

@Fireflygirl Thanks so much for your advice. I will try and add the pic in a day or two then. Yes I’m using the same brand each day, the pink dye First Response Early Response ones with FMU. I used those with my successful pregnancy last time and got a clear BFP from the day my period was due (I’m now 8 days late) which darkened each day. I know every pregnancy is different and I probably shouldn’t compare but I can’t help it!! I was thinking of ringing the GP but I agree with you, I think they are unlikely to do anything at this early stage, particularly with everything else going on at the moment. The wait is agonising!! I’ll be 40 in a couple of weeks which isn’t helping my anxiety about the situation as I feel like time isn’t on my side.

Unfortunately my experience with lack of progression and not moving on to 2-3 wks on clearblue by 18dpo has always been an indicator that things weren't right (5 miscarriages and 2 ectopics) x

@ivfgottostaypositive
Thanks for your honesty. I’m so sorry to hear about your experiences. I wish I could post a pic of the tests to show you but I’ll have to wait. There has been some progression as in you don’t need to squint to see the pink line now but it isn’t what I would call a strong positive. I’m very regular and usually ovulate on CD15 so although I didn’t track this month I’m fairly sure I would be 18dpo now. Guess time will tell but I fear this may not be viable.
