Headache and vomiting

I am 12 + 5 today and have had an awful headache since I woke up, have also felt nauseous and vomited all of a sudden twice.

Had the same thing Tues/Wed this week, just wondering if anyone else has felt this way at this point? Also been feeling extra tired this week.

Two friends have suggested it may be migraines but I'm not sure the headaches are quite that bad, I'm sure I could get up and about if needed but while I can lay in bed I thought I may as well.

I did have pretty much all day sickness from approx 6-11 weeks and was pretty much having daily naps in the afternoon but had thought I was passed that.

I have my dating scan on Thursday so will mention it when I see my midwife afterwards, or should I be calling GP/antenatal clinic before then or am I just being soft and this is normal? BlushConfused

Headaches are normal in your second trimester, in any part of your pregnancy in fact.
And if they are really bad you can be violently sick! My migraines make me sick, but thankfully I don't get them very often.
Paracetamol is ok to take whilst pregnant and try a cold compress either in your forehead, top of your head, or back of your neck.
If you are really concerned do call your midwife or GP.
I hope you feel better soon 🥰🥰

I've escaped this pregnancy but had this a lot with my daughter. Worst at 12-14 weeks. Midwife said it was hormone linked and I wasn't drinking enough water.

Drink loads and loads especially in warmer weather and if you are vomiting , take paracetamol when the pain is bad and rest in bed if you can whenever you feel tired. Peppermint tea may soothe your tummy
if you like that, I hope you feel better soonThanks but as always if you are concerned mention it to your midwife.

If you're like I was this should hopefully ease off by 14-15 weeks.

I did find with my morning sickness in both pregnancies the vomiting was extremely sudden, for me moving a certain way could trigger it.

Thank you ladies, feeling reassured knowing I’m not the only one, think it threw me as I thought I was passed that phase and never actually vomited with morning sickness. Of course google results were varied and some scary so always good to hear first hand experiences, thank you x
Seems these headaches are a different ballgame to MS and I will rest through them as much as I can. Never been one for taking paracetamol but if this is a regular occurrence I think I will definitely have to give it a try.
First pregnancy and dumbfounded as to how anyone can enjoy this experience 🙈 looking forward to getting labour on the go and getting this baby out, and I never thought I’d say that 😳
Thanks again 😘 💐
