I keep getting intense pressure pain in my back passage. I don’t know whether it’s contractions or not. It’s been happening now almost every 15 minutes. But only back side.

It feels like constipation pain so I’m confused as to what it is. I’m 38+6 today.

Anyone got any idea?

Might be contractions, might be constipation, might be baby kicking in the wrong place - give your midwife a call and talk it through?
If it starts coming more frequently, regularly +/- spreads to your tummy, lower back or tops of thighs, more likely labour! Good luck.

You need to ring the hospital and ask them. As you are preterm your must do this now.

Sorry I miss read that! Does sound like it could be the start of labour. Midwives are always able to answer your questions so if your worries then give them a ring.

It could be labour. I had pains like that.

Put your hands on your bump, can you feel a change when the pains come? It does sound like contractions, but give your midwife a call to talk it through if you need reassurance x

Thanks ladies. It was most definitely contraction. She was born yesterday evening at 7.20. Xx
