Just wanted to know how all the other mums do the first wash of baby clothes. Do I separate them into lights and darks and whites or do I wash them all at once because they are just so small and don't want to do a million loads of washing.

I'm a first time mum so don't want to risk ruining all of his little clothes so just want some advice on what's best to do.

Also wanting to take advantage of all this time I have on my hands with the virus and want to keep my sanity by keeping busy any help would be great Smile

I separate them out into whites, dark etc and put them in with our stuff of the same categories

Here baby clothes get washed at 60°C along with his nappies and wipes where as our clothes get washed on a 30°C so his all get washed together then I separate ours. Haven't had any of his run yet.
