Hi all. I'm 29 and 15 weeks 5 days pregnant with my first child. Today we got the call to let us know the results of our blood test as we couldnt get the Nuchal measurement. Weve been told we have a 1 in 28 chance and have booked in for an amnio on monday morning. My mind is racing and I just dont know how I feel I'm so scared and worried we tried for 3 years to get here and my anxiety is just horrible now. Just looking for some advice for other mums out there I think.

Sorry that you’re going through this, it must be so worrying. I’ve got no advice I’m afraid but didn’t want to read and run. Hopefully someone will be able to give you some advice that’s been in your position. Take care x

I haven't been in this position either, sorry I can't help. How accurate can it be without the measurement? Can they not check that before the amnio or is it too late now/not that important when calculating odds?

Sorry you're going through this. I know 1 in 28 isn't what anyone is hoping for but try to remember the odds are still in your favour Flowers
