Had my 12 week scan at the end of march which dated me at almost 13 weeks- I'm high risk with increased risk of cervical incompetency but this is my first pregnancy so it's an unknown risk. My cervix at this scan only measured 25.9mm but 'appeared closed'. They ran the result past the consultant who agreed it was fine and for me to be followed up at 16 weeks (which is now 17 weeks with my revised dates). I have a scan a week today.
I actually didn't see exactly what my cervical length was until just now when I turned my scan report over
I just went with them saying it was fine. However, I've got a sort of heavy feeling like when a tampon isn't in far enough so I did some research and it seems my cervical length is actually quite short, borderline concerning. Should I contact someone do you think, or wait til Friday? Really worried about this now
