Back to Morning sickness?

I’ll be 32 weeks now this weekend, and the night before last I woke around 2am with a sudden need to be sick. I literally ran to the bathroom and was there with my head down the loo for a good two hours.

Since then I’m really thirsty but feel nauseous after every drink regardless of what it is, and I’m getting hungry as normal but feeling the same after eating anything. I’ve also been sick a few times between now and then but nothing like the first night, it’s more a lingering feeling and the odd visit to the loo. I don’t have any stomach trouble or symptoms of anything else.

I did have morning sickness in the beginning but it was eased with food rather than this way around. I don’t think I’m Ill, none of us has been anywhere to pick anything up for weeks for obvious reasons. It isn’t food poisoning either as I’m only really eating cold foods/picky things like sandwiches, salads and fruits.l as it’s all I fancy. Any ideas? I do get heartburn but keep Rennies by the bed and didn’t feel any heartburn at the time.

Sickness can be an indicator of gestational diabetes. Meniton it to your mw

Oh I didn’t know that, I’ll try and give her a ring, thanks. Will have to be Monday morning now. I’ve slept almost all day today and felt so ill in between :(

How are you sleeping at night?
I'm 31 weeks today and have noticed if I find myself asleep on my back (accidentally of course!) I can sometimes wake up feeling quite nauseous.. x

I'm 32 weeks and had awful hyperemesis requiring medication. It got better around 24ish weeks and settled to just the morning bile puke, but this last week I've been puking throughout the day again. I've also started feeling sick at night and had a 3am burp puke (sorry) a couple of nights ago. I've been tested twice for gestational diabetes as I had it in my previous pregnancy but don't have it. My sugar levels are normal. Definitely still get checked but try not to worry.

I read some early symptoms can come back because of hormones around this time so have put it down to that.

Maybe a tummy bug or something you've eaten?

Mine came back in the third trimester op with dc2. I didn't have gestational diabetes and had a healthy but hard pregnancy.
