Talipes detected at 20 week scan

Hi all. I was looking for a bit or help/reassurance!
At my recent 20 week scan my soon to be daughter has what is suspected talipes in her left foot. We are waiting for a call from the hospital once the consultant has seen the images but wait feels like forever!

I’ve done what I probably shouldn’t, I’ve done lots of google research. It’s all very scary, especially this is our first pregnancy after several miscarriages. From what I can see, there are 2 types of talipes- Positional and Structural.
What I would like to know however is can positional talipes be detected at the 20 week scan. Or if it is detected at the scan does it always mean the talipes is structural?

Hi all, just wanted to say that what you have shared on here still helps worried mamas due in 2025. My firstborn is perfectly healthy so we were so surprised when we found out that his brother will have talipes. No idea what future holds, but your posts were very helpful, so just wanted to say a huge thank you! Hope all of your little ones are well x

our second didn’t have talipes, and I kept asking on every ultrasound to double check, just in case, as probability is so much higher if one child has it.

I've just found out at my 20 week scan my son has talipes in his right foot. How far along are you? Feel free to reach out so at least we have someone going through the same thing at the same time!
