yeah I feel fine, although am thinking of booking another early scan at window to the womb for monday, I just can't bear the thought of waiting!

Them first 12 weeks are a killer!

@ceebee21 did you have an early scan already? It's not that long to go at all but when it's you waiting it's so hard isn't it. If it helps with the anxiety and you can afford it then go for it x

@ceebee21 how far are you now? I may get another scan before 12 weeks if I can find one that will let my husband in the thought of him not being . I’m praying it’s more relaxed but I haven’t had date yet.

How is everyone? This heat is not my favourite weather 🤣 I get to hot- I get stressed about dd in the sun.

Nipped to b&m today and got a pack of 4 cute bibs for £4- dd was so dribbly from 6 months and wore them up to turning two so started collecting them now as I imagine he'll be the same

Yeah had one at 7 weeks on the NHS.

Ended up getting a last minute one today and got to see baby wriggling around...so amazing! Now two weeks until 12 week scan so not too long cx

Aww that's amazing @ceebee21 any pics? OMG @MrsCl19 I'm boiling to death! I'm finding the bigger I get the less clothes I can bare. I'm constantly in the shower cooling off the water bill will be huge this month!

Aww cute! Growing away nicely @ceebee21 how are you doing with the anxiety side of things?
I've been for my 28 week appointment this morning, nearly passed out getting my bloods taken it was so hot. Home now on the couch recovering 🙄 all looks well with the baby though so I'm very please after not seeing anyone for so long x

@BabyB19 yes I am ok, especially now having had the two scans it has made me feel a lot more relaxed.

2 weeks until the 12 week one, then we will start to tell people as well!

I have my bloods next week - it is so hot isn't it.

Aww I'm glad you're feeling more settled and once you've passed that 12 week milestone you'll hopefully start to really enjoy it. How have you been feeling like sickness wise etc?
Not long at all for me now, 11 + until due date!! Actually getting a bit nervous now! @ceebee21 we have got most things sorted though already just need some more bits of clothes really.

Sickness wise ok, felt a bit nauseous for a while, but nothing too bad. Just really tired!!!

No we didn't find out @ceebee21 im gutted it looks like we've missed the 4D scan window. Especially as OH missed the 20 week one. The best time is 27-28 weeks which I'm just passed now and midwife said yesterday baby is head down now, that's why I've gone so big in the space of a week as it's turned around.
Fingers crossed you have a nice smooth second trimester and the hot weather is over before you get bigger haha!

Aww thank you @MrsCl19 I'm holding so much water with this heat so I'm hating being so round but it will all come off eventually so not worrying myself. How exciting the half way point is such a big milestone I think! X

I've woken up today and sobbed from the minute I woke up. I feel so overwhelmed with the lack of antenatal support and now I'm getting closer realising life is unlikely to be back to normal by the time the baby comes. I feel so overwhelmed today and literally can't stop crying. I'm never like this I'm not a whingy person at all. Anyone else have days like this? Must be a combination of the current affairs and the hormones @MrsCl19 @ceebee21 @Jonesbabynumber1 xx

@BabyB19 you’ve got a beautiful bump ❤️ your bound to feel a little overwhelmed it shows your aware of the big changes coming, I think a good cry is needed and allows a good release. I feel a little in limbo still got sickness I can’t eat full meals so living off snacks. App says I’m about 9+4 so I’m hoping there’s some relief after 12 weeks. I got my scan at 24th June just praying husband can come as everything else seems more relaxed except that. After 12 weeks I’m going to try and buy a book or two as may help me feel more in control and that I’m trying to understand 🙈

@ceebee21 glad your feeling more relaxed after scan. @MrsCl19 wow half way that’s amazing. Does it at least go a little quicker after 12 weeks is there hope?

I've bought a couple of books now and the one that stands out a mile for me is Emily Oster expecting better. It's no nonsense and full of useful info. I got 'how to grow a baby and push it out' which is lighthearted and not heavy but it's very basic and I would imagine you would know most of it @Jonesbabynumber1 it does go faster in the second trimester.
It's just one of them days I think, where you know you won't feel better until the morning once you've slept it off x thanks for replying x

@BabyB19 thanks for book recommendation I’ll order it. Your welcome just have a self care day cry when you want don’t apologise just let it all out, I find sometimes out on a soppy film so I feel like I’ve got a reason to cry, tomorrow is another day. Big hugs xx

@Jonesbabynumber1 it deffo speeds up after 12 weeks.. especially when you have lots of covid purchases to open the door to daily 🤭

@BabyB19 have a good cry and look after yourself hormones are a cow! With dd I remember crying at literally anything and I wasn't an emotional person 🤣 but not I cry at everything even 2 years later

Here's my 19 week bump, he's still so low but he's deffo growing fast, pretty sure I'm carrying a lot of water because I feel very squishy

@MrsCl19 lovely bump. When did you all get yours I’m coming up 10 weeks and no sign of a bump yet!

@Jonesbabynumber1 I bloated out about 12 weeks then I shrunk down and then I've popped over the last week of so! At 10 weeks it was non existent still.

Thanks ladies @Jonesbabynumber1 @MrsCl19 been a rough couple of days but starting to feel a little better now. It's just so tough and overwhelming, I think the nearer my due date is and the less likely things are to be back to normal the more it's stressed me. But what will be will be I suppose. Love bump pic @MrsCl19 you're showing quite a bit for so early aren't you!
Everyone is different though aren't they @Jonesbabynumber1 at 13 weeks I ballooned with bloating and then it got smaller and smaller, until I was about 20 weeks and then it popped out again! You can enjoy being a skinny mini for now 🤣 make the most of it, you're desperate for your bump to come and then when you struggle to put your shoes on you wish you hadn't willed it to come so soon haha xx
