I've had a look online and can't find a clear answer so I thought I'd ask here!
Is the due date you are given 40 weeks from the date of your last period (or 38?)
And if you reach your due date, how long after do they tend to induce?
And can you be induced earlier if you wanted to be (not that I do, just a question!)

From first day of last period it's 40 weeks. As for induction they will let you go over due date by 2 weeks then induce and no you can't opt for an induction of u want baby out earlier and early induction is for medical reasons only
