Is diarrhoea normal in 1st trimester?

Had diarrhoea 3 times yesterday and im 9 weeks tomorrow. Is this a common symptom?
When not pregnant I usually suffer from constipation so I appear to have gone the other way.

No morning sickness, but my symptoms disappeared last week But I think they sort of reappeared yesterday. Would this be a sudden surge in hormones causing havoc with my digestive system?

Had some sausages the night before this happened which im sure were cooked properly but of course my mind is just going into overdrive.
Thanks

With my first pregnancy I was expecting constipation, but got overactive bowels instead.

You might just have a bit of an upset tummy though if it's just come on. Keep an eye on it and make sure you're hydrating!

It seems to go one way the other....some people get constipation, others get diarrhoea.
I had diarrhoea/loose stools throughout my first trimester and the midwife said it was nothing to worry about as long as I was drinking plenty of fluids so not getting dehydrated. I still get it occasionally now at 23 weeks.

Thanks. Dehydration shouldn’t be an issue as I drink plenty of water. Just trying to convince myself that it shouldn’t harm the baby.

I had diarrhoea every morning like clockwork for a couple of weeks early on, before the constipation kicked in and I've been constipated ever since! Now 19+4...
