Hi everyone, I am currently around 4+1 so very early but i went and got a blood test yesterday as I've had two recent losses both around 6 weeks and I want to check my hcg and my progesterone!

Can anyone tell me when their levels were around this time so I have something to compare to when I get the results? (I know everyone's is going to be different but just be good to see) thank you

Mine were less than 80 at 5 weeks which is actually really low but am now 39+3 weeks they just have to be doubling every 48hrs or very minimum going up 75% xx

Mine was 600 and something at 5 weeks. Don’t worry about the number that isn’t important as such a variation with each pregnancy all that matters is they double x

apple777 · 16/04/2020 12:03

Good luck :) x

I had bloods taken for hcg count alot on my last pregnancy. Mine didn't double every 48 hours so I was told my pregnancy wasn't viable. They in fact doubled every 72 hours and I have a healthy 3 year old. Don't panic Flowers

I read a study once that does the best % chance of having a successful pregnancy hcg at 14DPO should be 100+

Less than 50 more than likely a chemical, 50-75 more than likely not viable.

But please bear in mind one blood test isn't going to reassure you - I had them on my last pregnancy- more than doubling every 24 hours and ended up being a ruptured live ectopic

Someone I know also had over 200 at 14DPO and had to have a medical termination as the baby wouldn't have survived full term

Hey, at exactly 4 weeks my levels were 116. Good luck, I'm sure everything will be fine but will keep everything crossed for you! xx

opticaldelusion · 16/04/2020 15:14

Mine were 371 at 14DPO.

EarlGreyT · 16/04/2020 15:51

I think it depends more on the rate of doubling (should be 48-72 hourly) rather than the absolute number, although anything over 100 is very positive.

Mine was about 500 at 4+1 and around 1500 at 4+3.

DragonNight · 16/04/2020 19:20

At 4 wks mine were 22! Doubled every 35 hours and now 20 weeks.

Abs93 · 16/04/2020 19:56

Okay thanks everyone I got a little worried as got my results and it's 85 but I think that's okay for now?

You need another test to check doubling time as the normal range is so massive it’s really meaningless in isolation. I had really low hcg with my son (not picked up until the 12 week scan) and it had no impact on anything whatsoever. But I’m sure if I’d had it measured at 4 weeks I’d have been really freaked out!

Hey! Just wondering how this turned out? I am 4 weeks + 3 days and this morning my CB pregnancy test was 1-2 weeks and my bloods were 79.5 then I got home 8 hours later and did another CB and it was 2-3 weeks where I read it needs a min of 153 HGC. My doctor has panicked me as it should be over 100 and this is an IVF baby (and my last embryo) so just looking for any hope while I wait for the repeat bloods on Wednesday… thank you
