Anxiety before scan

Hi ladies I'm due to have my booking appointment on Friday will be 11+6 and I'm so nervous for my scan it's awful. I have no reason to believe that anything is wrong as has been a straightforward pregnancy so far. I had 2 losses last year one at 5+5 and then 6 weeks. Had a scan a month ago when I was 7+5 baby measuring a few days ahead and good heartbeat. I'm can't stop overthinking and then I convince myself something is wrong x

It's totally normal to feel this way.
You just have to remember that MMC is rare and it's even less likely to happen after you've heard a healthy heartbeat.
Just try to relax and stay positive (easier said than done, I know).
Good luck

Thanks for you reply @sel2223 I wasnt like this with my ds although that was 8 years ago. This time I'm jus a nervous wreck and it doesn't help with all this Coronavirus. I have an early appointment on Friday that helps me a bit too x

I was like this before my first scan in my last pregnancy, remember being convinced I'd go in and they just wouldn't find anything and I'd look like a weirdo idiot. I had my scan this morning for my second pregnancy and wasn't as bad this time although I did have a scan at six weeks. As PP has said the anxiety before the scan is normal but the relief once you've had it is great. Good look x
