Low down movement - normal?

Hiya

I'm 29 weeks with my first. Up until the last couple of days I've felt him kick on the right hand side more than anything but now I seem to be getting movements lower down around the pubic area but not so much where they were before. I had an appointment yesterday and baby is now head down as opposed to breech which he was at 20 weeks.

Does anyone else get this kind of movement? I have to really focus to see if he's moving or not (which he is) but obviously I worry because the movements don't feel as strong as they did before.

MW heard his heartbeat yesterday at appointment and I have a high anterior placenta so not sure if that has anything to do with it. Any stories or advice would be appreciated :)

I'm 34w and I get movements low down. In my last pregnancy I had a lot of low down movement and I imagined the baby had her hands up at her face.

Has the pattern of movements changed at all as in frequency, time of time, how long they last etc or is it just the position?

If it's just the position then it's probably.just that the baby has moved. I'm only 23 weeks but I have a high anterior placenta too and have just started feeling flutters/gentle movements. Everything I'm feeling is low down in the pubic area which I feel makes sense given where the placenta is and that this is where her feet were at the last scan.

@sel2223 it does feel like they've changed slightly from a couple of weeks ago but that might be because I'm feeling them lower and they're harder to identify if that makes sense haha

@Delbelleber oh okay I'm glad it's not just me! I'm sure he's pressing on my bloody bladder sometimes 😩

Oh yes that comfy cushion that is a bladder. I know what you mean!

Ok, I'm sure it's absolutely fine. Just keep am eye on the movements in general and if they feel reduced or you're worried about them for whatever reason, give your the midwife or maternity unit a call.
Better safe than sorry and they do say to monitor movements after 28 weeks.

I'm nearly 25 weeks. Some days I'm kicked up past my belly button and other days I'm kicked in the public area and there no where near as forceful. I'm just assuming that it's her position and angle 😅
Sometimes it's a pure bladder kick which isn't nice 😂
I'm seeing midwife later I'm going to ask about movements. X
