Hi guys
So I'm 28 + 1 with my first child.. I have had two bleeds so far and after my last bleed (9 days ago) I have been experiencing pain in my hip - unsure if this is related tbqh. It's got to the stage where I'm struggling to walk and for the past three nights I've probably had a total of about 5 hours sleep. My mum has suggested I try a pregnancy pillow so I'm looking for recommendations for one. I don't have a large budget probably around 50 pounds.
I am at the hospital Thursday for my GTT would it be worth mentioning the pain? Or is it normal? Sorry I am a ftm and so I'm unsure.

(reason I've not contacted anyone about this pain is that baby is moving around pretty much constantly)

Thank you in advance.

Pain can occur but do still mention it. Mamas and papas do a lovely grey pregnancy pillow, was my best friend for weeks!

I've just bought one from George at Asda (online) it's huge and really comfy and was only £20!

I slept with this for the first time last night. My hips aren't killing, my back isn't hurting, my neck feels like a neck! I didn't have to sleep with a cushion under my belly.

Would recommend 10/10

I bought this last month
So so comfy. Solved all my problems and comes with a cover which can be zipped off and washed x

Yep, that's the one @Crackerscheesescabbyknees!

rosie561 · 15/04/2020 09:13

I have the same one @Babyshine2020 recommended and it's fabulous

Saraj09876 · 15/04/2020 09:26

I started a similar thread a while back and ended up trying the Asda pillow! It's great :) x

Thanks everyone! The pillows mentioned above appear to be out of stock but at least I know what style I'm looking for now :) x

Hello,
Those of you with the pillow from
Asda- does it stop you from rolling onto your back when you're asleep?
Thanks

Crackerscheesescabbyknees · 17/04/2020 14:01

Hi @Laura1348 I have it wrapped around myself in such a way that no rolling occurs 😂

Purpleowl94 · 17/04/2020 14:15

Forgot to say I actually managed to get a pillow from asda. It should be delivered by the 1st of May 🤞 xx

Thanks for your response. I don't know how to tag people.🙈

KnobwithaK · 17/04/2020 16:16

Sorry to hijack the thread - those with the Asda pillow - how tall are you? Does it work for tall people? I'd really like to be able to put something between my knees without bending my legs if that makes sense Smile

Laura1348 · 25/04/2020 09:01

Thank you soooo much to those who recommended the Asda pillow. Mine came Thursday and I've had the best two nights sleep that I've had in about 4weeks. Thank you.
Would highly recommend to anyone.

KnobwithaK · 25/04/2020 09:08

@Laura1348 do you mind if I ask how tall you are and if you are able to sleep with it between your knees without curling your knees up? (If that makes sense..). I'm thinking of ordering it bit I'm 5'7 and want to be able to sleep straight-ish..

HarrietM87 · 25/04/2020 09:41

I got the Summer Infant one and it was brilliant. Used it as a breastfeeding pillow after the birth too.

Laura1348 · 25/04/2020 10:27

I don't know how to tag but in answer to the question I'm About 5 6 and it is pretty much the whole length of me- once I lay me head on the bend. I do bend my knees when asleep, but I wouldn't need to. For £20 it's a steal.
Hope this helps

Thekindyoufindinasecondhand · 25/04/2020 10:37

I've ordered the dreamgenii pillow, it's due today, it's on sale on Amazon. I'll let you know how I get on! Fingers crossed I can start sleeping again!

KnobwithaK · 25/04/2020 10:38

@Laura1348 thank you! That's really helpful

Laura1348 · 25/04/2020 13:14

An anyone tell me how to tag?
I tried the dreamgeni first but I could still roll onto my back.

KnobwithaK · 25/04/2020 13:25

@Laura1348 - you out at @ symbol and then the poster's name (no space) Smile

Laura1348 · 25/04/2020 13:33

@Knobwithak
Hope this works
