Hi everyone,

I'm a single mum on my own, 7 months pregnant, and just trying to decide which way you would recommend for me to have between these two names. Difficult when you don't have a partner to talk to about this sort of stuff.

It's either going to be:

Florence Olivia or Olivia Florence

Thank you 😊

I prefer Florence Olivia, but really it depends which name you prefer as the middle name will largely be forgotten apart from official forms etc. Florence is slightly more unusual as well (Olivia is the most popular girls' name at the moment I think).

TenThousandSpoons · 14/04/2020 11:54

Both lovely. I think Florence Olivia just pips it.

Delbelleber · 14/04/2020 12:07

I like Olivia Florence

mylittleavalon · 14/04/2020 12:09

Florence Olivia instantly reminded me of Laurence Olivier (if that's how you spell it) which I think is quite nice xx

3xmother · 14/04/2020 12:10

Oh I love the name Olivia xxxx

duckling3 · 14/04/2020 12:19

Florence is such a name

duckling3 · 14/04/2020 12:19

Such a lovely name that meant to say lol

LexiM · 14/04/2020 13:00

Personally I prefer Florence Olivia.

Birdy1991 · 14/04/2020 13:01

Love Florence Olivia!

Mucklowe · 14/04/2020 13:16

Florence Olivia is gorgeous!

Melbs6 · 14/04/2020 18:54

Another vote for Florence Olivia. It rolls off the tongue more, and Olivia is such a popular first name that would put me off

MissBax · 14/04/2020 18:55

I'd go Olivia Florence, all I hear with Florence Olivia is Laurence Olivier!

Crackerscheesescabbyknees · 14/04/2020 19:16

Florence Olivia here.

Katnissx · 14/04/2020 22:14

Florence Olivia is lovely x

BabyB19 · 14/04/2020 22:56

They will almost definitely be shortened to nicknames Flo or Liv/Oli so I'd go on which nickname you would prefer depending on the order you chose. I think they're beautiful either way xx

mumma2b2020 · 15/04/2020 02:01

Another vote for Florence Olivia - lovely name x

imamearcat · 15/04/2020 02:02

Olivia is too boring, def Florence

theschoolonthehill · 15/04/2020 02:10

I prefer Olivia. I like the 'idea' of Florence because it is less used but I would not like to be named Florence. It sounds harsh and doesn't have a particularly nice sound to it.

zscaler · 15/04/2020 10:57

Both are really pretty, but I prefer Florence Olivia.

Cherryhill22 · 15/04/2020 13:42

Florence Olivia. Both are lovely choices thoughSmile
