I'm FTM. And took these pics at 11 weeks ( 3 days ago). I didnt think you got a round belly till later? Normally my tummy is wiite flat, I dont hold weight there really. Also can anyone recommend good creams/oils to prevent stretch Marks. TIA

I had a lot of bloat in the first 12 weeks which made it look like I had a belly . My belly slowly formed between weeks 12-20. But it never looked rounded until 24 weeks . I just looked chubby in the tummy .

By the way , you can feel your uterus as it grows . I noticed it around 12 weeks and it felt hard compared to be squishy tummy fat .

The foetus doesn't grow large enough to come out from behind the pelvic bone till 12 weeks. Doesn't mean bloating cannot make you bigger earlier though. Multiples will also make you bigger early on. Have you had a scan yet? Is it a singleton pregnancy?

Cannot recommend creams, as only 6 weeks myself (but will be checking back what others say too).

I can feel my uterus it does feel hard. I do have a lot of endometriosis so maybe that's a factor aswell. I've had a scan and yup it's just the one as far as I know!

This was me at 9.5 weeks. I am short and overweight, but carry my weight on my legs and bum, not my tummy. This is my fifth pregnancy (only carried one to term), and my tummy just pops very early.

Cocoa butter is supposed to be good, but unfortunately stretch marks are mostly to do with genetics - if you got stretch marks during puberty, you'll probably get them during pregnancy. Preventing rapid weight gain can help reduce them.

I am slightly behind you at 10 weeks, and am not showing at all (relatively slim, flat-ish stomach). I have had some days with horrendous bloating though!

I have started using bio oil every day after my morning shower, and a scented oil in the evening. Have no idea if it will work as this is my first. I have read it recommended though.

@Jadegkeaney so I'm in the same boat as you!!! I'm 8 weeks with my second and normally a size 10 flat stomach! I haven't had my scan yet but just feel really big and round already x

This is me at 13 weeks (orange dress) and last night 24+4! Was bigger at 13 weeks and was convinced it was bump as it was so round and hard, it was just bloat though and went down a few weeks last and is now growing steadily 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’ve been using Secret Saviours bump band since 24 weeks ish and I don’t know whether I would’ve been lucky anyway but I don’t have a single stretch mark.
My mum didn’t have many but I do have some on my thighs and breasts from when I was younger and put weight on, so I fully expected some this time round.

Pineapplebaby · 07/05/2020 13:12

I’m 39 weeks this weekend btw

Jesskir89 · 07/05/2020 13:19

I didn't get a single stretch mark and gave birth at 38 plus 6, I began using a Thai oil from bodycare which was quite expensive, after that I just used a dove moisturiser every night and most mornings

Yup perfectly possible. I know a woman who when pregnant with her first she looked about 4 months, and another who was about 9 weeks pregnant but looked at least 5 months. That was her third though. She was trying to keep it quiet until 3 months but it was impossible.

Wewearpinkonwednesdays · 07/05/2020 13:36

Sorry that should have said she looked about 8 months when she was 4 months.
