How many DPO before BFP with first response?

Hey everyone! TTC (trying to conceive) for 6 months now and just wondered when you got your BFP (big fat positive) with first response pregnancy tests? I've heard these are the most sensitive ones?

I was 10DPO. Was a pretty clear line not even a squinter so I think I’d have got one at 9DPO if I’d tested them, but I didn’t.

I do think FRERs are pretty much the only tests worth buying though

I’m not a fan of them as I had a v faint line with non FMU at 9DPO but then at 10DPO with FMU I had a barely there line and it stressed me out as thought it was a chemical.

So got the Boots early ones and they were fab. Now over 10 weeks

This was how mine went

Clear line at 8DPO, think I'd have got a line at 7 but I didn't test.

It says on the box what the sensitivity is based on how many days before you period you test

I got my BFP on a FRER at 9dpo using FMU. I'm 31 weeks now x

I got a BFP on a FRER and a cheapie at 9dpo. No squinting needed.

@burntpinky FMU actually isn’t the best to use as it can be flooded from being held in too long. I know it’s often recommend but SMU is generally better for the reason you describe
