Just that really. Have had some massive chocolate binges with all the Easter celebrating and feeling a bit guilty. Please tell me I’m not the only one!? I just can’t stop with sugar!

You'll be absolutely fine.baby will take all the necessary vitamins from you.

I had hypermedia and at one point survived solely on Lilt. My DS is fine.

Hyperemesis*

No idea what hypermedia is.

I wish I could eat Easter eggs till my hearts content but I've got gestational diabetes Angry I looooove easter eggs!!

Jay0512 · 13/04/2020 18:51

🙋🏽‍♀️ Guilty!

@Pentium85 ha ha- didn’t see your second post and started to google hypermedia ha. Thought it was some pregnancy complication I hadn’t heard off! Sorry to hear your had Hg- sounds awful!

@Delbelleber sorry to hear you have GD. It must be really tricky to follow such a restrictive diet-particularly at Easter. I actually had to test for GD two weeks ago as my babies belly is above 95th percentile. I don’t have it, but think I do still need to be carefully with it’s belly measuring so large. Think that’s why I worry more when I binge.

If it's any consolation, one of my good friends ate an entire family sized bar of galaxy every day from around 5 months.

Another friend got an Easter egg craving.

Me! Chocolate and a sudden craving for pick n mix (which I've been giving in to) I've had some sleepless nights about causing damage, but then got lots of comfort from people on here!!

Currently 19+1 and have definitely indulged in Easter eggs over the weekend and have some left that I’ll finish in the coming days. I eat well the rest of the time and make sure to have 5 a day etc so trying to not feel guilty about it 🙈 and keeping up my daily walks and indoor exercise. Last pregnancy I survived on McDonald’s the first trimester and DS is perfectly healthy

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 13/04/2020 20:36

You'll be fine, enjoy it! I would kill for an easter egg rn, but I too have hyperemesis - and survived on drinking only full sugar Pepsi from December - March. 😁

No. There's calcium in chocolate isn't there? That's good for babies.

Listen to what your body is asking for. It knows what it’s doing.
Just maybe have some cheese and an apple first to stop you getting ravenous again when the carbs wear off.
