Just interested to know how much people gained by around this time? Just curious really...! I've put on 16 pounds and I was wondering if that's a lot - can't seem to find a definitive answer for weight gain by 24 weeks online.

I think I've put just over a stone on! I think being stuck at home hasn't really helped.

snch · 13/04/2020 18:28

And I'm 21 weeks x

Babyshine2020 · 13/04/2020 18:38

I'm 23+2 and I've put on 2.9kg since my booking appointment which is just over 6lbs but I've definitely got my bump and baby was measuring big at my scan at 20 weeks (357 grams)

Photos are November VS now for context & I weighed myself this morning!

@Babyshine2020 I really like your jumpsuit, looks comfy! Where is it from please? You look great!

vinoelle · 13/04/2020 19:19

I’ve put on about 5kg, but 3.5kg of that was between 4-8 weeks where I just stuffed my face with pizza to avoid sickness! So not actual real pregnancy weight.... just fat.

Thanks ladies 😊

@vinoelle Dorothy Perkins (online). It's so so comfortable! Super stretchy and not too thick, it was only £5, I really rate their stuff.

vinoelle · 13/04/2020 20:05

@Babyshine2020 £5 Shock that’s amazing! Sorry to derail the thread but what are their sizing like? I’m a 12 in m&s and boohoo etc is that about equivalent?

Leah91 · 13/04/2020 20:11

I'm 24+1 and I've put on around 11lb (5.4kg). I think it varies quite a bit for everyone though, and I'd like to put on a little bit more to be honest Grin it's a good excuse to have extra snacks

Leah91 · 13/04/2020 20:13

I use the app called "pregnancy week by week" by Amila, it has a weight tracker and it coaches you with kegel exercises too, it's quite nice if you like to track your weekly progress Smile

Babyshine2020 · 13/04/2020 20:28

@vinoelle this is a 12 I'm wearing. Pre-pregnancy I was a size 12 but the odd top I'd have to get a 14 in because of my boobs but I find DP very good.

I didn't rate H&Ms sizing

They have this one in for £12 which I've just found which I'm tempted to buy now

Thanks @Babyshine2020 I've just bought that jumpsuit and another two dresses from DP! One maternity one not.

I'm 14+1 and when I was last weighed at 12+4 I had no weight gain, which I'm putting down to the deficit in alcohol calories and keeping up exercise. However, I feel like the bump has appeared almost overnight so expecting to put some on soon.

Babyshine2020 · 13/04/2020 22:23

@roarfeckingroar I feel like my bump popped up over like 3 days from about 20 weeks, I 100% think I could've hid it that long! I just looked like I'd had a big dinner..

I bought the jumpsuit to fly in but the holiday has been cancelled so I'm glad I bought sum summery/cooler mat clothes considering how nice the weather has been!

I've been weighing myself every few days but more out of interest - however heavy I end up it's all worth it! But lockdown makes me think we'll put more weight on than average pregnancy just from the day to day walking you don't realise you do!
