Itching during pregnancy!

Hello! I'm currently 37+4 and have unbearable itching on my feet!

Just a bit of background of how it got to here, at 30+5 I noticed tiny itchy pinprick spots on my left foot, didn't think much of it, by the evening they had gotten worse and noticed I also had them on the backs of both ankles. I called 111 for advice, they looked more like an allergic reaction to a bite or something, and was advised to go to a pharmacy which the following day I did. They basically refused to see me there as I was pregnant so off to the GP I went where I was hastily given the diagnosis of hand foot and mouth.

10 days after first spots appeared there had been no improvement and I also hadn't found any in my mouth and it hadn't blistered at all. So I called 111 again and got sent to out of hours where he was certain it was eczema.

A week later I discussed my concerns with my midwife and was sent to have a blood test to check my liver, this has come back normal and a repeat one two weeks later was also normal.

Just wondering if anyone else suffered with this? My feet are intensely itching and peeling all over! Skin is dry and scaly and looks like a combination of eczema and athletes foot. I'm only certain it's not athletes foot as I've had skin contact with my partner and it's quite infectious so I would assume he would have picked it up!

Going to ask for another blood check on tuesday to rule out the liver once again but I'm starting to panic that somethings going to go wrong with baby so close to the end 😪

I had the worst itchy feet with #1 - I used to put socks on for bed to try to stop myself because it was worse during my insomnia! Had the blood test and all came back fine - I ended up taking piriteze or something like that (the one that's safe in pregnancy) to help.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one 😔
I am taking piriton and have found that a godsend because I'm also suffering with insomnia but that just knocks me out!

Did you ever have it on your hands? Initially I had really itchy hands too but that has eased right off to just the occasional small patch on my finger!

Did everything go okay with that pregnancy? I'm debating asking if they would consider inducing me a little early as its causing me so much stress worrying and with this lockdown i cant even go out to distract myself from it all! I've been so focused on the baby movements that its had me down the assessment unit twice this week just to check him!
So grateful to be pregnant as I know so many women would love to be, but cant deny right now that I'll be glad for it to be over!
