My husband and I had a double embryo transfer on 26th March. This is our first baby.

I had bad cramps for 3 days immediately having the transfer for the full 3 days. I had did a pregnancy test on 5th (4 days early)- it was positive. Then I did another one on the 7th, also positive and then one yesterday on 11th also positive.

I started bleeding on the 8th April which obviously worried me. It wasn’t heavy and it wasn’t bad. It was accompanied by slight cramps. I rang the hospital on the 8th and they said nothing to worry about and to monitor it for next week if nothing changed / or the blood turned into fresh blood or heavier ring them back.

On 9th/10th and 11th April (yesterday) I had very Light bleeding on and off all day it’s not a lot but it’s enough to worry about. Then for an hour a day It appears to get worse, not enough to fill a pad but we are slightly concerned. I also have cramps.

They’re not really bad but bad enough to get me to notice them and want to get myself checked out . The cramps has come and gone for about 3 days but they've gone today. I Still have a little bit of blood when I go for a wee. The cramps have gone for about 24 hours now though.

I rang our hospital again yesterday as I was slightly worried and they said exactly the same thing to me - for me to monitor myself for another week and ring if it gets worse. I asked if I could come in for an early scan / blood test and they basically said no because of the pandemic but call them if things get a lot worse.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. I feel fine really no cramps. Boobs still a bit tender tender. The hospital have said they can’t see me at the minute because of the pandemic.

Do the tests look like they should do? Are the lines going darker as they should be? Xxx

Any advice would be great Smile

Your tests look good so far. How are you doing today?

From what I have read, small amounts of bleeding and cramps are okay in early pregnancy. I can imagine you must be going out of your mind though particularly after going through IVF too Flowers

Don’t hesitate to keep phoning for reassurance, that’s what they are there for. Your tests look promising though ☺️

Congratulations! I'm 13 weeks with an IVF baby and I had LOADS of cramps until about 7/8 weeks - often so bad that I'd go to the bathroom absolutely sure there would be a period. I've also had lots of bleeding - some huge haemorrhages but also loads of 'only when I wipe' blood. I've worried and stressed the whole way through and I'm still worried but all is fine so far.

Tests are looking great but don't panic if the line does fade one day - I had one when I went for a wee in the middle of the night and was CONVINCED it had all gone wrong!

Awful that clinic aren't able to have you in to reassure you but trust that it means they aren't worried.

Best of luck. Feel free to pm me if you want a IVF pregnancy buddy. Hope all continues to go well for you.
