Hi everyone,
First time posting so I'm really not up with the lingo, sorry. So I'm currently 17dpo, have taken numerous pregnancy tests, all faint positives and a couple positive digital tests but this morning I started bleeding and it's been getting heavier throughout the day. It's bright red in colour but no clots. Dull cramping but nothing else. Very worried if it's an early miscarriage and wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Unfortunately it could go either way OP. I have had a miscarriage and chemical pregnancy in the past, experienced bleeding with both, tests were still positive but started to fade after bleeding started. Have also had bleeding throughout this pregnancy and am now 35 weeks so it’s not always a sign that something has gone wrong. Unless you have a scan you aren’t going to know for definite, maybe ring your local EPU or maybe book a private scan? I wish you the best of luck and hope everything turns out ok for you Flowers

Thanks so much for that! May I ask how much bleeding you had when you've had successful pregnancies? Mine has been quite heavy so far.

Hello mads I’m sorry this is happening to you I have had in last 18 months 4 miscarriages and 1 chemical pregnancy. I’m sorry to say but in my experience when it’s flowing bright red like that it usually not good it sounds like a chemical pregnancy. Do a test tomorrow morning and see if still pregnant. If you are you can always call your early pregnancy unit and ask for advice.

I have booked in with a doctor for this afternoon but have convinced myself that I've lost it, I had a blood clot come out this morning followed by a bit of bloody discharge. I'm so sorry to hear that you have gone through that, I'm worried it will keep happening to me.
