No symptoms and Clearblue stuck

I’m 6+3 with my second and my experience this time has been totally different. With my DC1, I sort of knew I was pregnant and it all went pretty much like clockwork. This time I’m having no symptoms, some brown spotting and the Clearblue test isn’t changing from 2-3 weeks. Has anyone else had this or should I just expect the worst?

The EPU at my hospital is closed until Tuesday and even then I’m not sure I should call what with everything else that’s happening.

I’d love to hear of any similar experiences (good or bad) - I’m really worrying. Thank you!

Those CB digitals where they estimate how far gone you are, are notorious for being inaccurate. You'll drive yourself insane if you keep doing them .

If you're worried or have bleeding then call your maternity unit for advice but remember all pregnancies are different and symptoms can come and go at different times.

Good luck.

Thank you, I think I do need to stop doing them. Apart from anything else it’s costing me a small fortune!

You've had a positive test.

Why on earth would you do another? Just stop.

Because of no symptoms and the spotting, which I didn’t have with my last one. It’s just so different, it’s making me question whether I’m pregnant at all.

Stop testing it'll drive you mad and is no help. I was a serial tester. I spent literally hundreds on the clear blue digital. I took one an hour before my last scan which said 3+ and at the scan discovered there was no heart beat. I'm not being mean I'm just pointing out that even if the worst has happened it won't show immediately on a test so stop torturing yourself doing them.

Good luck.

My test lines kept getting stronger and clear blue digitals going up by the weeks. I thought everything was perfectly fine but I was walking around with a dead Baby inside me for weeks

Thank you both for replying- I’m sorry for both your losses.

You're probably just feeling a little paranoid. I had no symptoms at all until I was 10 weeks (this is my first) even then I've not had it bad. Every pregnancy is different this one isn't going to be the same as your first. Relax and book an early scan in a couple of weeks if you're eager to know everything's ok :) x

This is my first, currently 13 weeks and I’ve had minimal symptoms really, back ache but that’s it really, nausea didn’t start until 9 weeks and even then it really wasn’t that bad only threw up about 5 times and it is gone now. Boobs haven’t really been sore more in and off tender. it’s easy to get caught up with the testing - I know I did it myself but once I saw the 3+ and had an early scan I forced myself to stop because like others have said it’s not the most accurate. Try to relax and book an early scan for a couple of weeks time x

In case anyone comes across this thread searching for similar symptoms (I found lots when I was searching for help), I wanted to post an update. I had worsening bleeding and then a miscarriage.

Sorry to hear that, OP. Flowers

I think sometimes you just know.
