Ivf of IUI? Help please ????

Hello everyone , I hope you all keep safe and well during this difficult moment.
I have issues to get pregnant due to my partner suffering of DE, he cannot ejaculate during sexual intercourse , he can only through masturbation so we cannot make babies . I think doctors didn’t take us in consideration too much because we are not married , we will get married by the end of the year so hopefully someone will help us. I’m feeling so hopeless and depressed
Anyone of you with similar issues ? Anyone of you been through ivf or iui? Please help thank you

First of all, you have options, so don’t panic!

The doctor should not have dismissed you purely because you are not married. When things calm down you should book in to see him/her again and ask for help.

With respect to your partner’s delayed ejaculation, this is potentially fixable with therapy. Another way around this is to have him masturbate into a cup and then use a syringe to inseminate yourself with.

IUI and IVF are both possibilities, but are very invasive and expensive unless you get NHS funding, which is becoming like hen’s teeth and in any case is currently suspended. You’d be far better off exploring how to resolve the DE issue first. Much cheaper.
