Hi everyone,

Just looking a bit of advice.

This is my 3rd baby. I've 1 daughter at home and a son in heaven.

I'm 30 weeks. I'm having slight pains, tightenings with a cramp like feeling and back pain. Nothing I can't deal with but they are there. Coming and going.

I've had a couple of bowel movements (not like me) today and yesterday.

A lot of pressure down below.

The baby is very active.

Suppose what I am asking do I need to call the midwife to get checked out or at this stage is this all normal... I don't remember it like this in my previous pregnancies at this stage - under the current climate I don't want to be going to the hospital for no reason but concerned something is starting and it is till too early yet...

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It is most likely to be braxton hicks but there's no harm in calling the mw team at your hospital for some advice.

Give them a call and see what they say.

Good luck OP!
