Baby aspirin after miscarriage?

Hi so this is the first time I'm posting there..

I have had recurrent miscarriages.. just had another 2 last month and this month again at the same time! I have been referred by the docs to get checked out but the docs did mention most likely I will be given baby aspirin to help..
unfortunately due to everything going on at the moment my appointment was cancelled which is really annoying as I'm ttc!

I have been looking online and people have just been taking the low dose as it's available in shops etc..
Is anyone taking it at the moment? Would it be safe for me to try it myself or would I have to wait? Any experiences or advice would be great! Thank you

@BYHA12 hiya not sure if your gonna pick this up. So sorry about your mc. I had one a few weeks ago. Did you take the aspirin for the last pregnancy that you had a mc for? Do you think it would have helped?

Hey... the 3 pregnancies that I had a miscarriage with I didn’t take aspirin I was just having pregnacare daily. I started to take baby aspirin around ovulation time the first month after my miscarriage and it resulted in a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby.. hope that helps x

@BYHA12 thank you. I'm 36 now. Have 2 kids youngest is 3. Just wanted to try everything lol. Dont want another mc. Its so hard. Taking folic and vitamin d. Waiting for my period. When my af comes back I will ttc. Once i have a bfp will start on aspirin. May ask for progesterone.

@BYHA12 hi hun just picked up your comments. Very helpful. Can I just ask please when is the best time to start taking it and what is the benefit. I had a mc a few weeks ago at 11 wks and waiting for my period to ttc asap. How long did you take it for and when in the evening please? Thank you

@BYHA12 congrats babe and hello little one. So happy for you. What else did you take with the aspirin please? I'm taking vd and folic till my period comes bk after my few weeks mc. Thanks

@Lizbb I only took pregnacare with baby aspirin.. and I started to take it around the time I was ovulating up until I was 14/15 weeks... as far as I am aware the dosage is so low it can’t do any harm to you.. and apprently it’s suppose to thin ur blood to prevent mcs happening.. I use to take it at night just before I got into bed I did that religiously... xx
