Induction after spontaneous labour

Has anyone had an induction after previously having one or more spontaneous births, if so what was your experience?

30 weeks with 3rd baby and more than likely to be induced with this one, first two spontaneous at around 42 weeks, laboured are home and went to hospital being 4-5cm with no real complications and natural births.

Midwife has told me not to worry about induction as I've given birth twice before but not really sure how it will go. I'm a bit scared to be honest about a fast progressing labour and the painful bit happening too quickly and not being able to cope. Equally worried about a long drawn out induction that doesn't work initially.

I had spontaneous labour with my first and then was induced at 40 plus 6 with my second. The induction was a bit stop start throughout the night, very manageable with contractions getting stronger and wanting gas and air and then stopping. They broke my waters at about 8am and then after 20 minutes of active labour, I was fully dilated and pushing for another 20 minutes before baby was born. It was really intense but I felt like my body did the work for me and overall the induction was a really positive experience for me, especially comparing to my experience of spontaneous labour.

First was spontaneous at 40+1.
Second was emergency section.
Third I was induced at 36+4 due to iugr.
My only down side was that my hospital is a big and busy maternity. I had the pessary for first time mums and lost it after few hours as I was already 3 cm dilated. The wait for a delivery suite was surreal, 3 days.
Once I got a midwife and delivery suite, broke my waters and a bit more than two hours later I pushed once and my daughter was out, almost 3kg actually.

I found your body moves faster other times.

This time also being induced in less than two weeks if I don't deliver by then.

Thanks for the replies and thanks @lucy2204 for the bump!

I was never anxious about my last two births but the thought of an induction has me worried. Binge watching one born every minute during a pandemic isn't helping!

Had spontaneous first at 39+5 however had post delivery problems.
Dt was induced at 37 induction started at 9am delivered both naturally having had gas and air by 4pm. By 5pm had ds1 visiting. So actually my induction was the better of the two.

Yes mu first was born at 40+4 and my second was induced at 40+1 because my waters were trickling. It was I managed without an epidural.
