Concerned about pains

I'm 23+1. Previous DC born at 28 and 33 weeks respectively. I had a scan this week that showed my cervix has shorted to 22mm. My consultant has prescribed progesterone pessaries but I don't yet have them (has to go via GP) and I'm booked in for another scan and to see the consultant next week, where they may decide to do a cerclage.

I'm now having abdominal pains. Not cramps as such, and they definitely don't feel like contractions, but sharp pains low down on my bump. Is this likely to just be ligaments stretching? Should I call maternity assessment? I don't want to go to hospital unless it's really necessary. But I also don't want to under react because of my desire to stay home and minimise risk of exposure to covid.

call MAU asap so they can advise. Even if you do have to go in you may ve pleasantly surprised. I've been to mine twice a week for the last month and it is generally deserted with sensible precautions in place
