HELP - Any midwifes about?? Loss of tissue at 16 weeks :(

Hi all,

I’m 16 weeks pregnant and have just been to the toilet and noticed what I think is a lump of tissue on my knickers. The best way to describe it is looking like a small piece of chicken!! I’ve rang my midwife who said it could be a number of things but as long as I’m not bleeding or experiencing any pain not to worry too much. Easier said than done and I’m now in full panic mode Sad.

Has anyone had anything like this before? Does anyone know what could cause it? Midwife said if I have any more to call back which I will do.

I had a miscarriage last year and this baby took nearly another year to conceive so I’m scared stiff at the thought of losing her/him Sad.

That’s really unusual and I’d want it investigated in hospital, pandemic or not. No blood is a good sign though. Does your hospital have a maternity triage number?

If you're only just 16 weeks your early pregnancy unit might still speak to/see you. I'd give them a ring.

Please could you tell me what happened with this? I just had the exact same thing at 16 weeks and I’m freaking out!
