Hi just wondered if it was a good idea to buy a heart Doppler has people found the baby's heart beat on them or will I just tend to worry myself I'm only 12weeks gone

Please do not buy a Doppler. It is a false sense of security and you aren't trained in how to correctly pick out a babies heartbeat. If you are ever concerned call the maternity unit and get checked and monitored. kicks count are currently running a ban the Doppler campaign to ban the commercial sale of Doppler's as they can have disastrous results. Listen to your instincts it's worth much more. Best of luck for your pregnancy x

Absolutely not - sorry! Leave it to the professionals as I'm assuming you haven't had relevant training and practise. If you can't find the heartbeat which would very easily be the case as you don't know what you're doing, you could panic yourself unnecessarily. Speak to your midwife/a health professional if you have concerns x
