Can you get pregnant from having sex on your period?

I have the regular 28 days menstrual cycle with a 4 days period and I had unprotected sex on the first day of my period.
I started feeling pains and sensations similar to ovulation pains on the 9th day of my cycle.
Since sperms can survive for longer inside a woman’s body prior to fertilisation, is it possible I might have gotten pregnant?
I will appreciate responses , please.

It's technically possible, though not that likely. I would take a test in your shoes.

Very unlikely but possible in theory.

Unlikely but I got pregnant five days after my period.

I did !!!

I’m pregnant right now and we had sex on day 5 of my period (so really only light spotting ). I was trying to conceive though and I know I ovulate ridiculously early .

With my first baby I got pregnant only a couple days after my period ended .

My cycle is 28 days which has always been confusing as I would expect a shorter cycle but nope 🤷‍♀️

Very unlikely with 28 day cycles - especially as you had sex on day 1. You would have had to ovulate very early and the sperm live for a long time. But not impossible.

We are pretty sure I got pregnant with dd the day before my period (so day 0 I guess). I naturally have 20 day cycles though so ovulate on day 6. It was very strange when I had my 12 week scan - I walked into the scanning room at 12+1 and walked out at 13+2. They kept asking if I could have got my dates muddled which dh found hilarious (I’m a mathematician - I do NOT get numbers muddled!)
