Did anyone have any signs before their waters broke. Or are contractions pretty much the only sign?

I read somewhere diarrhoea could be an indicator.

I'm 37+4 today. Inductions been moved to 39+2.

Ok DS1 was born at 38+1 and was natural labour, so just keeping an eye on this one.

My waters broke at week 39 +2. The day before I got the urge to clean the bathroom floor. Within 24hours my waters broke! Other than that i had no other warning signs!

Rest as much as you can and good luck! X

My waters broke at 37+1. The week before my waters broke I thought it was happening any day . People kept telling me everyone feels this way in later pregnancy but I felt pretty confident baby was coming. Maybe I was just lucky to be right 😝

The signs :

Diarrhoea every day for a week

Baby dropped ( it felt like the baby was in my vagina and I was getting lightening crouch ). Also every time I stood up it felt like a bowling ball with dropping into my vagina and putting horrible pressure on me . It was a bizarre feeling .

Braxton hicks on and off all week ( I never had them earlier in my pregnancy)

Bad lower back pain ( came on very suddenly)

Anyway , my sisters both said they got all those symptoms too in the later stages of pregnancy and still went past their due dates . I think it annoyed them when I felt so confident baby was coming early and then he did hehe 😉

My waters didn’t break until I was 8cm, I had felt like labour had been coming for a while (strong braxton hicks, diarrhoea, terrible back pain, strong period type cramps and ‘fanny daggers’) but those had been happening for a few weeks before I actually went into labour. I’m getting all those things now (am 33 weeks) but think (or hope) I have a couple of weeks left! Last time once contractions actually started it went super super quick!
