Anyone who has had/going through twin pregnancy were your symptoms increased/worse? I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and I have non identical twins on my mother's side so I know I have an increased chance but I have no symptoms at all at the minute. I hear a lot of twin pregnancy symptoms are a lot worse but can you have twins and have no symptoms or symptoms that are not that bad?

I was convinced I was having twins. I’ve had hyperemisis, sickness from 3 weeks pregnant. Every pregnancy symptom you can imagine x10 and from very early. But I went for a scan and there is deffo one only in there. I’m not convinced you can really know or tell until you actually have the scan. Though I have heard bleeding is more common in twin pregnancies which is the one thing I didn’t have...

With mine, I had slight nausea, no actual sickness and all in all a very straightforward pregnancy and birth.

I knew I was pregnant at 4 weeks and by 9 weeks I went to the early pregnancy unit to get checked because I felt so bad - nausea, pains in my stomach, weird shoulder pain. I was convinced something was wrong to be told we were having twins! It was my first and last pregnancy so I can’t give a comparison but I had a lot of aches, pains and nausea. Good luck if it is twins!

Yes worse symptoms - was constantly hungry, had sickness throughout both pregnancies but started earlier with Dt. Also was much more exhausted early on and by 9 weeks couldn't fit into my jeans.
Had fertility treatment and bloods at 4 weeks were more than double my singleton at same stage was confirmed at 7 week scan. Definitely a harder pregnancy throughout.
